Rob Cunliffe is a working actor living in Los Angeles, CA.  He graduated in May of 2009 from the Hartt School of Acting in Connecticut.  While attending Hartt he was enrolled in a classically based acting technique program that focused on Shakespeare and styles studies with training in Shakespeare, movement, staged combat, voice, acting, text analysis and much more.  Rob also had the privilege of playing a number of great roles.

Some of his most memorable performances include his portrayal of Hamlet in ‘Hamlet,’ Benedick in ‘Much Ado About Nothing,’ Garreth O’Donnell in Brian Friel’s ‘Philadelphia, Here I Come!’ and Ramona in ‘The Idiot Box.’

Most recently in his Los Angeles stage debut as Taranis, from acclaimed screenwriter Gus Krieger’s dark existential thriller Deity Clutch at The Lex Theatre in Hollywood, Rob received such positive reviews as “Rob Cunliffe as Taranis is quirky, humorous and at times disturbing,” –Ashley Steed, L.A. Theatre Review.  Rob followed up with an additional performance for the company in Comedy of Errors as Antipholus of Syracuse.

In addition to his acting career, Rob has also been focusing much time on his music, playing shows all over Los Angeles as a soloist and with his band, "Almost Classy" which he formed with two other musicians from the New England area.  Excited to be where he is, Rob is looking ahead to bigger things with excitement, vision and gratitude.
